The “Institute for Robotics : Research and Development”(IRRD) a division of IRRD AUTOMATONS was established in the year 2013, to conduct basic and applied research in robotics technologies relevant to products focusing on customers of home next door , industrial units and Societal tasks. (In an effort to combine the practical and theoretical divisions of robotics, the institute has diversified its approach towards robotic science retaining its original goal of realizing the potential scope of robotics. Though robotics technology is relatively in primitive stage in India, its potential role in boosting the productivity and competitiveness of India can be foreseen in the evolving global market.
